On this week’s episode, you’ll be meeting up-and-coming DJ and soon to be producer Redfreya, from London, UK. Redfreya has been building momentum in the London deep house/tech scene over the last couple of years, holding a monthly residency on Bloop London radio with her Urban Soundscapes show. 

Her music is nostalgic, emotional and full of atmosphere; presenting a fusion between dreamy melancholic sounds and percussive minimal grooves, you will always find a story and a journey to be taken in her mixes. 

Redfreya is in her early days as a music producer, but with professional Jazz musicians on both sides of her family, creativity runs in the blood, and she is surely one to watch for the future.

Today, we discuss her anthropologic study on rave culture, her residency at Bloop London Radio, breaking through a male-dominated industry and so much more!
